Hello.....
You did not mention details regarding cough like it is dry or productive. If productive then mucoid or purulent. Any nocturnal increase in coughing or any precipitating factor. Have you ever suffered from TB in past. Have you suffering from any type of allergy????
According to my opinion regarding your detail is most probably you are suffering from dry cough since long time. Chronic cough has two main etiology one is TB and another is allergy. Because your ESR is not so high and you did not mention like fever, weight loss or loss of appetite or any Sputum AFB report so unlikely to have TB.
So i kept second possibility that is allergy. You are suffering from Allergic bronchitis. Kindly do AEC (absolute eosinophil count) test.
Meanwhile you start taking Tab Montair-FX twice a day, Tab Omnacortil 40 mg for 5 days then tapper with 30 mg for 5 days then 20 mg for 5 days then 10 mg for 5 days then 5 mg for 5 days, Tab Abphylline 100 mg at bed time, Syp Codistar 10 ml 6hrly, Tab Heterazan 100 mg thrice a day: all these drugs you have to take for 3 weeks regularly.

Thank You
