Hello,

You have elevated bilirubin level, neglect will cause worsening of the condition and may cause complications too. To control bilirubin level you are should take boiled food and avoid spicy, oily food. Take boiled water after cooling. Avoid trans fat, full fat diary products, red meat and food that takes a long time to digest. Give your liver rest, take quality sleep at night. Stay away from addictions (alcohol, smoking, tobacco, etc.) if any and avoid stress and anxiety at all cost.

After observing 3 months of strict diet control, your bilirubin level should get under control. Take liver tonics or Liv -52. However, to stay on the safer side get all liver function tests done. Get clinically examined by a GP to rule out or detect liver dysfunction, hepatitis, gall stones, bile duct inflammation, etc. You will be treated accordingly. High bilirubin level may cause lightheadedness that may trigger headache if you are stressed up or dehydrated.

To avoid headache, avoid exposure to direct sunlight, stay adequately hydrated, do not skip meals, stay away from strong smell (of food, oil, paint, fumes, and others). Avoid overuse of caffeine, if obese, loose weight and maintain healthy weight. Sleep disturbances, anxiety, certain medications, hypertension, etc., commonly trigger headache.

Take adequate sleep. You can control your headache with healthy lifestyle. Get eye test done to rule out headache due to any eye problem. You will be treated accordingly. You can take sumatriptan (Imitrex), if it is migraine headache and Combiflam, one SOS when needed if tension headache. You will get relieve.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
