Suggest Remedy For Chronic Radiating Pain From Forearm To Thumb

I am having severe pain in my left forearm upon straightening it. I get shooting pains in the area up my arm from my thumb to the bend in my arm opposite my elbow and the top of my arm up from the back of my wrost. The pain sometimes goes all the way up my arm.

Hello

Your symptoms may be related to cervical spine.It is important to exclude disc prolapse in cervical region.
You may need proper clinical examination and investigations.
You may need routine hemogram,X-ray cervical spine AP/lateral view,MRI cervical spine,EMG,serum calcium and vitamin B12 level.

MRI is important in diagnosis and treatment.It is important to see any nerve root compression which may cause similar symptoms.

Proper treatment depend upon findings.
