Hello,
As per my clinical experience, as there was need of small surgery for cold
abscess, most possible issue of concern is
immune deficiency of T and or or B cells , responsible for controlling various bacterial, viral, fungal infections. After thorough clinical examination, I do recommend detailed evaluation with:
- Complete hemogram with ESR
- Fasting blood sugar
- T and B cell numbers with any abnormal morphology
- X-ray chest (PA view) to look thymus shadow
-
Ultrasound of the Abdomen Pelvis
Though definite therapy requires clinical examination, my primary guidelines:
- Keep hygienic care for face
- Allow him boiled water, lemon juice
- Prefer balanced nutritious diet
- Anti
histamine as
cetirizine syrup, prophylactic or curative antibiotics, supportive multi vitamins, minerals, anti oxidants
- Choice of antibiotics is subject to variation who is examining
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
