Der SIR/MAD
Thankyou for asking on HCM .
I read carefully your problem and my answeer is as follow:
•     When you diagnosis the Colloid nodular goiters ?
They are usually caused by not getting enough iodine in the diet.
Did you getting enough iodine in your diet?
Did you feel :
•     Breathing difficulties
•     Dizziness
•     Enlarged neck veins
•     Swallowing difficulties
•     Thyroid swelling (nodule)

You have done only FNA?Did you have histopathology answer? Is this bening /malinj?
I need to know some rezoult of test please like:
•     Blood tests to monitor thyroid function,TSH , Ft4 ,Ft3 includi (high if underactive, low if overactive)
•     Radioactive iodine uptake (normal or increased)
•     Thyroid scan
•     Thyroid ultrasound
•     Urinary excretion of iodine (low)
My answered about your treatment is that you must t o take :
Thyroid hormone replacement therapy is prescribed for iodine deficiency. If you can increase the iodine content of your diet, you may no longer need thyroid hormone replacement therapy.
Did you have a large goiter or small?
You may need surgery to remove all or part of the thyroid gland if you have a large goiter that doesn't go away with treatment or that restricts swallowing and breathing.
If the goiter is producing too much thyroid hormone, you have overactiv gland so treatment may be needed with:
•     Antithyroid medication
•     Radioactive iodine
•     Surgery
My advise is to counsoult with your endocrinology for more detail information . after your blood test forThyroid hormonal level? The answere of FNA .
Hope I answered your questation and don’t hesitatetd to ask me please .

Kind Regards
