Suggest Remedy For Constant Stuffy Nose In Infants
My daughter is 10 days from being 8 months old and she has had a stuffy nose since she was born. My family and I tried blaming it on teething for the longest time. But I'm scared its much more then that. She has been sick pretty often and I don't take her out. I don't underdress her actually her doctor told me that I was over dressing her. I have tried a nasal sucker, saline drops, and a humidifier, is there anything else that I can try? Is this normal for such a small baby? Any help will grateful! Please and thank you. =)
Hi Thank for asking to HCM. Since you have tried everything like nasal sucker, saline drops, and a humidifier . If I were your treating doctor, i would like to investigate her for choanal atresia . Choanal atresia is a birth condition where the back of the nasal passage is blocked, by abnormal bony or soft tissue & prevent nasal secretion to pass into throat. Here my suggestion is that you should consult your ENT doctor for thorough examination, necessary investigations and treatment. Hope this information helpful to you, take care and have a nice day.
