Suggest Remedy For Constipation And Painful Right Flank
I am a 69 year old woman in good health. Recently I have been experiencing right back flank pain which also includes constipation. I see no obvious blood in my urine. The pain is on the right lower side but radiates upward. I have been using a hot water bottle for the pain and I am drinking as much as i can...mostly diluted with water unsweetened cranberry juice. It seems to improve overnight and gets worse during the day.
Hi..Can understand your concern..As per your query about painful flank and constipation , it seems that you're having recurrent urinary tract infection and need an antibiotic course to be followed.I suggest you to consult your physician about getting proper dosages and duration of antibiotics ..May be he suggest you to go for urine culture and senstivity test for it....For constipation you should take a laxative syrup or any stool softener like cremaffin 5 ml at bed time .Avoid gas forming foods like cabbage, beans, onion or spices and non vegetarian diet and take fibre rich diet so that constipation doesn't occur due to gastritis.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
