Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m five weeks and six weeks pregnant. Earlier this week I was very constipated, I ate a lot of hot chips and I had a lot of cranberry juice (I did that before I knew I was pregnant. )and when I went finally pooped, there was blood in my stool and the toilet water was red. When I wiped I didn t see anything on the tissue coming from my vagina, but it was red coming from the back. I read on the Internet that it is possible to miscarry and still test positive for pregnancy. Do you guys think I miscarried? I don t feel pregnant anymore and I m really scared.
An ultrasound is essential in order to rule out any miscarriage. You can still have a positive pregnancy test. Kindly visit your doctor since examination in person is essential. In case of constipation, drink plenty of fluids, increase fibre content in diet, eat at least one vegetable or fruit a day.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
