Hello Your toddler had cold , cough , running nose 10 days ago , took treatment , cured . All these symptoms recurs , advise bideocort and dioline nebulizer . When such patient visit with these recurrent symptoms I advise them to take montelukast+bambuterol syrup once in day and patient respond very well ( dose 0.2 mg /kg body weight of both salts . Usually these symptoms may be due to allergic bronchitis or asthmatic allergic bronchitis. Due to allergy patient develop bronchoconstriction ,hence cold , cough and running nose . Dust , mite , pollen , hay , smoking , sudden rise and fall of temperature are certain predisposing factors responsible for allergy. So avoidance is necessary in such type of cases. Bideocart is steroid and I usually don t prescribe steroid in ordinary cases because of side effects. Hot coffee and steam inhalation will also provide relief. Good luck.
