Suggest Remedy For Cough With Phlegm Post Throat Infection
Hello I am Yasir from Karachi, Pakistan suffering from throat infection and Phlegm Cough. I am taking antibiotic (Leflox 500mg) for last 2 days. every time i cough i get lot of phlegm wich is very irritating kindly advice solution to quickly get ride of Phlegm.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cough with phlegm post throat infection. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures such as you should take cough expectorants. You should take anti inflammatory medication such as Levocetrizine. You should use throat lozenges and go rinses with warm saline water. You should Chew a Vitamin C pellet. Take decongestants and mucolytic agents. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Take diet rich in vitamin B12. You should take antibiotics such as Levofloxacin or Azithromycin for 5-7 days. You should get blood test done. You should get an x ray of the chest and pulmonary function tests done as well. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined.
