Suggest Remedy For Cough

Hi,I have had a chesty cough fo 2 weeks now,It started wheezy at first but now I can easily bring up mucus when i cough,I have no pain,I feel fine in myself,but the mucus is so embararasing as the it comes into my mouth,It isnt coloured its only thick spittle.my husband has it now,do i need antibiotics or is this the tail end of it.

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of post infectious bronchitis is more likely.
Bronchitis causes bronchospasm and this in turn causes wheezing, breathing difficulty, coughing, expectoration etc.
Usually post viral bronchitis is self-limiting in 2-3 weeks.
Since your wheezing and breathing difficulty is reduced, your mucus will also subside by its own in 1 week time.
Just drink plenty of fluids orally and do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
