My 12 year old slipped in the shower on vacation her butt has a cut on the inside about 1" long (very close in the fold meaning not directly parallel with anus). We have applied ice and the bleeding has pretty much stopped. We would like to know if we should clean with peroxide and pack with cotton? We can't imagine she would need stitches there? Should we get pain medication, if so, what kind?
