What Causes Swelling In The Anal Region After Anal Sex?
hello what happens to a womens anus when she has had anal sex , does the anus swell up. I asked because my girlfriend suddeninly starting hurting in the anus area. from nothing I did. I looked at he anus and it was hanging outside the anus. is this a sign she had anal sex.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Swelling near the anal region does not necessarily indicate that the person had anal sex. Generally, following anal sex, the area seems to be raw and could have some bleeding spots due to mucosal injuries. She could possibly have hemorrhoids and can be opined about it by clinical examination. It could have been precipitated by straining during passage of stools as a result of constipation. Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for proper assessment and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
