Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the dark red swollen area around sutures after MOH's surgery that is used to remove squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma..

It seems to be either due to inflammation caused secondary to surgery and inflammation post surgery is a common finding due to soft tissue injury..
But in case if the swelling is in excess and there is also pain and discharge from the site then it has to be taken care of as such symptoms can be secondary to infection at the site of surgery..

I would however suggest you to consult your treating surgeon and get evaluated and he can advise you oral as well as injectable antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication and also give you injectable antibiotics and steroids for reducing infection and swelling faster..
Topical application of antibiotic like Muricoprin should also be continued..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
