Hi,

As per your query you have darkening of skin around eyes and mouth, possible reasons for could be dehydration, excessive exposure to sun and fatigue and could be post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation.

I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing Benzoyl peroxide twice a day and then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is a cereal extract and totally safe for use. Also, apply vitamin E oil before going to bed. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper examination and rule out other causes. Doctor may recommend chemical peeling and laser therapy .

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
