Suggest Remedy For Degenerative Disc Disease
Hello, The treatment plan goes this way. First, note down the pain levels using the VAS (visual analog pain scale) where 0 is no pain and 10 is maximum pain. Post this use cervical soft collar to stabilize the cervical spine and do hot water fermentation to reduce the muscle inflammation. Once the pain level drops between 4-6 then start doing simple neck static exercises which will help to improve the stability of the cervical spine. Post this do stability of the shoulder joint and also strengthening exercises for the trapezius, interscapular muscles, upper limb muscles. You should do well with the set of the plan. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Jay Indravadan Patel, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
