Hi!Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Emergency Plan: Visit your Dr. & be assessed for an anti-depressant. Start taking a multivitamin and eating breakfast every day. Consistently buy and eat healthy foods even when you don't feel like it. Think positively. Take a 30 minute walk every day or engage in Yoga, meditation or other positive mental/physical exercises.
Studies have shown omega-3 fatty acids to improve mood and even to stabilize other mental issues like bipolar. It won't hurt to give these a try and be consistent with taking them every day.
I your doctor does not want to prescribe an antidepressant, I can give you some other suggestions after an assessment. You can either visit my telehealth clinic listed on my profile or come through the Specialist Portal here at healthcaremagic and ask for me.
I understand the struggle and the darkness, but this can be fixed. Good Luck! Kathryn J. Shattler, MS,RDN
