Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having retinal detachment in left eye.
My answer to your question is as follows.
1. The likely cause for retinal detachment in your case is probably because of myopia or near sightedness.
2. Hence examination is required to find out predisposing factors like retinal thinning especially in the other eye and if present this needs to be treated with laser to prevent the risk for development of retinal detachment.
3. Retinal detachment is an eye emergency and it needs to be treated by surgery at the earliest.
4. Waiting is not advised as longer the duration the success rate of surgery will decrease.
5. Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist or preferably a retinal surgeon for treatment at the earliest.

Hope this answers your question.
