Suggest Remedy For Diarrhea And Cramping

A week ago, I experienced terrible cramping and thought I could be getting my period within a day (which usually happens.) I had diarrhea that night and never got my period. It is 6 days later and I am on average about 2 weeks late for my period. Is cramping and diarrhea a normal sign of early pregnancy?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, or due to stress.
Cramping is present in early pregnancy, however it can also be associated with diarrhoea, which is not at all common in early pregnancy.
I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done and if negative, then you should consult a physician for the proper management of diarrhoea.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
