What Causes Stomach Cramping And Diarrhea Post Total Hysterectomy?

Is stomach cramping and severe diarrhea normal after abdominal total hysterectomy. This is my 7th day, the diarrhea is been going on for 2 days now, sweat no fever & lack of appetite. Took some anti diarrhea pills & still have the same symptoms. Thanks
