Suggest Remedy For Diarrhea
Hi: I am a 58 year old female, diabetic, with one kidney, presently traveling in northern India where temp is around 42 degrees and down with diahhrea. Have taken 3 Lomotils yesterday and already 2 tab 400 mg metrogyl; so far no relief. Pls help ...... Tks. - Ms. Bhutani

I really appreciate your concern, diarrhea should never be checked or stopped with medicine like Loperamide it causes the paralytic ileus it is dangerous drug. If this is diarrhea then just take care for dehydration else most of the diarrhea are self-limiting may not need any treatment.
