General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCM. I am sorry for the accident. You take any analgesics Three times daily for 3-5 days depending on the pain. if pain subsides completely, you can stop early also. Coming to the discolouration, it is due to blood clot. It will subsides on it self. The colour will go off but it takes more than a month to resolve completely. This is because the bum has fat deposition in a pockets made up of fibrous tissue. So any fluid collection will take time to resolve, Take care.
