Suggest Remedy For Discomfort Around Eyes And Jaws Due To Anxiety

I m a very anxious person and worry a lot. I did not realise that the discomfort and tight feeling I have around my eye area was caused from anxiety. My right cheek and right lower eyelid area is worst affected including my right jaw. It is involuntary. I cannot stop this feeling. My eye tends to water a lot especially when I m out and about. Just looking left or right feels so tense in my eye area.

Hello,

You are suffering from discomfort around the eyes and jaws due to anxiety. You are suggested to avoid taking that extra stress as it causes you to become hyper-sensitive to your environment. Depletion of potassium, sodium and magnesium levels interferes with muscle and nerve function. If you have been sweating a lot restore your fluid level, take adequate water, fluids, soups and juice.

Take care of your nutrition. Take home made balanced food to replenish magnesium, sodium, potassium other minerals so that your skin and electrolyte system and your vitals are maintained normal. Feeling of tightness and discomfort in the jaws should get reduced. Taking warm Epsom salt bath may help.

Avoid taking alcohol and caffeine can further dehydrate you resulting in you experiencing dry eyes or dry tight skin. You can take anti anxiety medicines and switch to healthy lifestyle. Get clinically examined by a GP and get treated.

Neglecting in individuals dealing with anxiety or high levels of stress and high levels of anxiety and stress can cause you to notice symptoms like floaters, flashes, blurred vision, light sensitivity, twitches, dry eye, and tears, etc. Sometimes tightness in the jaws may be indicative of developing CAD, coronary artery disease. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
