Suggest Remedy For Discomfort In Clitoris After Child Birth
I had a natural child birth about 9 months ago, and ever since my clitoris has been uncomfortable. I ve lost the ability to feel pleasure in it about 4 months ago, and today I noticed there is a brownish black spot near where it had torn. I m not sure if a mole has formed there, if it has torn again, all I know is it hurts. Anyone know what this might be? I m definitely scheduling a visit to the OBGYN Monday.
Hormone imbalance can cause shifting estrogen levels to make the walls of your vagina thinner and more prone to tearing. Switching birth control methods or excessive exercise may also cause such symptoms. Chronic skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus and lichen sclerosus can make your skin more fragile and prone to tearing.
Certain treatments for these conditions, like oral corticosteroids, can also cause your skin to weaken and thin over time. Deficiency in vitamin C or D can impact your skin tissue strength and cause it to tear more easily.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
