Suggest Remedy For Dizziness And Black Discolouration In Stool
I ve been lightheaded and have not really felt well for three days ,also I ve had black stool but believe that s from medication I took for an upset stomachs during this time at the beginning I was also severely dehydrated and drinking water gave almost instant relief. Please help.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of light headed, not feeling well, black stools, dehydration getting instant relief with drinking of water, upset stomach and took some medications for the same which you feel may be the reason for black colored stool. My thoughts: The black color stool can come from any medication or foods with high Iron contents. Hence it is obligatory to get a stool test sand particularly for blood. Also get blood tests to rule out anemia which can develop and for routine tests. The blood in the intestinal tract can also upset the stomach as well as the infection if present. Also needed is upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy. The further treatment will depend upon the reports and after the clinical evaluation by a Doctor.
