Suggest Remedy For Dizziness And Burning In Feet In Diabetic

My father is of age 65,5ft8inc,60-65kg..he is having diabetes from past 10years,,but from past 1 month , he getting diziness also and right feet feels like heavy burning..he was getting diziness earlier also but in 2-3days he got cured..but now he is not getting cured..pls suggest me on this..

The burning sensation you mentioned is a neuropathy and diabetes is well known for producing this complication. You have not mentioned anything regarding the sugar control. Stringent control of blood sugar is necessary to prevent the progression of neuropathy. Alongwith that, he may start on Neurobion Forte once daily for the time being. Regarding dizziness, there are many reasons. Any cardiac or neurologic complication or comorbidity needs to be ruled out. You can have following investigations done- Fasting plasma glucose, HBA1c, serum TSH, ECG. A neurologist consultation is necessary to rule out ant neurodeficit. Alongwith all these, foot care is of great importance in diabetic neuropathy to prevent Diabetic Foot. Don't neglect even a small ulcer or discolouration or pain in the calf muscles.
