Suggest Remedy For Dizziness And Slurred Speech In A Person With High BP

My boyfriend has a history of high blood pressure and recently started smoking (a little over a month ago). he s up to about 1 to 2 packs a day. he recently started having episodes of slurred speech, hand trembles, and being very dizzy to the point of not being about to walk without falling. I believe it s the smoking thats causing this but he does not agree. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
i can understand your concern. episodes of slurred speech, loss of consciousness in a known case of hypertension should not be taken lightly and should be properly evaluated. i would suggest a ct brain initially to rule any bleeds. kindly get the blood pressure also checked and dose of the medication adjusted. donot ignore and kindly get a ct brain done immediately. hope you are satisfied with the response. thanks for choosing HCM
