Suggest Remedy For Dog Bite On Heel

greetings sir, I am Chris. 19yrs old, healthy. while i was walking a dog bit me on my heel. there s no bleeding... but it s reddish, i dont know if it s swelling or not. it s been around two hours. i already wash with body soap, put bleach and run it with water (because i m nervous) , and apply alcohol... the dog looks unhealthy... what should i do? thank you

Thanks for posting in HCM.
It is unfortunate to note that you have been bitten by dog.
What you have taken care of the bite site is alright. See that the wound remains clean and free from getting infected.
Irrespective of the immune status of the dog, you need to take anti-rabies vaccine.
You need to take rabies immunoglobulin and vaccine immediately. 5-doses schedule includes 1 injection of vaccine taken intra-muscularly on days: 0, 3, 7, 14, 28.
You may stop treatment if animal remains healthy throughout the observation period of 10 days. It would be always better to complete the schedule.
