Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. A couple of days ago, a jack russell terrier tried to take a chunk out of me and it bit me and left me with a big red scratch about an inch long. It was painful of course and it still hurts a little. The owner of the dog swabbed it with hydrogen peroxide and i ve been putting polysporin on it. Today I noticed some bruising around the area. Should I get it checked out by a doctor at a medical clinic or will it heal ok?
