I got a very small bite from a stray dog. I normally feed him and he is not aggressive to me. while feeding him somehow his canine punctured my skin and blood came out. it was not a very deep cut ..after washing I cant even see the wound. i have already washed and applied antibacterial cream. Do I need to take antirabies shot?

Hello,
Thank you for your contact to health care magic. I understand your concern. If I am your doctor I suggest you to take the anti rabies shot along with tetanus toxoid, antibiotic like cefixime, analgesic like diclofenac, local application of betadine dressing is necessary. You can also observe the dog for 10 days if it had some feature of rabies than you must be cautious for rabies.
I will be happy to answer your further concern
