Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

Rabies is a disease which is transmitted by dog bite which is 100% fatal but it is 100% preventable by proper and adequate treatment.

As you were bit by a dog which has led to bleeding from the site according to WHO categories it is categorized into Cat III, which requires following treatment
1.Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water.
2.Active immunization with anti rabies vaccine on days 0,3,7,14 and 28.
3.Passive immunization with rabies immunoglobulin around the wound.
4. Inj TT, 0.5 ml, IM.
Thank you.
