Suggest Remedy For Dry Cough

hi..i have had a cold for about 3 weeks.had runnig nose/coughing..but the last 2 weeks its been just coughing alot..like a dry cough.cough cough cough.its really bad in the morning when i wake up..and during the night.but i do cough off and on during the day too..do i have somethinf like areportory infection ive been taking over the counter cold and flue pills..

Hello.Drugs such as Dextromethorphan or Cloperastina are effective to treat dry cough, however you must go to your doctor to rule out bronchitis. If bronchitis is ruled out,your doctor may prescribe the mentioned drugs or other effective drugs for dry cough.
