Suggest Remedy For Ear Ache Post Usage Of Hydrogen Peroxide To Treat Wax Buildup

Hi, I had earwax build up and I know not to use a Q-tip so I did some googling and came up with hydrogen peroxide. I used it a couple of weeks ago with no problem. I did again this morning and it s like it s stuck in my ear. At first it was just annoying but now it s painful. It s 1am and I can t sleep. I ve tried using a hot compress(which feels good but just for a minute), I took a hot shower hoping the heat would make the wax thin and flow out, and I tried a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and vinegar. Nothing has helped. My question is: is this too stupid to go to the ER for? I live in a small town with a pretty small hospital but I worry they ll tell me it s a ridiculous reason to go to the ER.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is really ear wax impaction and you tried all the possible thing according to your limit now suggesting anything may not be advisable but better to see the ENT there it may needs suction pump to get this out, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
