Thank you for contacting HCM.If your child is physically healthy and active, does everything required by a child of her age, then please have patience.Children of this age group often do not like to eat a lot of things since they are not exposed to various food and flavours.
Make a food journal of her i.e. different food items ,time, quantity taken by her for a week, this way you will be aware about the time when she is very hungry then make food schedule for her .Make it interesting by adding various types of food items .You can ask your child to paste the picture of food items .Since your child is interested in having sweet items so you can offer her various healthy options of sweets such as sweet dalia, pooran poli, moong halwa etc. as a reward when she finish her food for a day.
Also, divide her food for a day in 6-8 small meals.Do not push her to eat, just remind her about the schedule.
For
dry cough, if the doctors has ruled out any
flu and viral infection or any other problem in throat, you can give her half tea spoon of honey thrice a day as dry coughs occur because the back of the throat (or pharynx) becomes irritated and layering of honey soothes it to prevent cough.
