Suggest Remedy For Edema In Feet, Hands And Ankles

What tests should be done to determine the reasons for edema to feet ankles and hands. Water pills resolve edema. Have associated headache, pain in shins when walking and on/off feelings of cold (even to the touch) in kidney area. My doctor says hormone. Hmmm been in menopause for 6 years (no period). Please guide me!! Respectfully, Liz R.

I really appreciate your concern, initial test would be cardio-vascular test, renal function test, low hemoglobin, endocrine disease all these need to be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
