Suggest Remedy For Elevated WBC And Platelet Count In Blood Post A Bout Of Fever
Sir On Wednesday night at 12 O clock, i felt fever as well as complete body ache. Yesterday morning the govt doctor given ceprofloxicon amd prescribed blood test. In blood test report, wbc count were 20100. On seeing this, the doctor advised for blood test again. Today i received the same and in this report wbc are 21300 and platelets are 532000. Meanwhile, the doctor replaced the antibiotic tab with hifen az (in yesterday evening). Now please advise me what should I do.
Hi, From history it seems that having this much high WBC indicates that there might be having acute and severe infection in the body. You might require higher antibiotic medicine as your doctor has changed from cipro. Continue with antibiotic. If there is no improvement within 2-3 days then you might require IV antibiotic medicine course. Meanwhile ask your doctor to find out the site of infection. Take plenty of water. Take complete rest. Ok and take care.
