Suggest Remedy For Elevated Sugar Levels When Suffering From Diabetes
My doctor prescribed meteor in Hal er 500 mg. I take 2 tablets each morning with breakfast. I do not have type 2 diabetes but my sugar level was elevated. He is also testing my blood for any liver problems. He said my liver is fatty and now wants a sonogram of my liver. Should I be taking meteor in?
The fat in the liver makes that organ less responsive to insulin so it leaving too much sugar in the blood, which can lead to diabetes type 2. So as long as you still have high blood sugar you still need to take meteor in hal (metformin). Metformin decreases liver sugar production, decreases intestinal absorption of sugar and improves insulin sensitivity.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
