Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had my aortic valve repaired very successfully. Then I developed constrictive pericarditis and had two surgeries to remove the pericardium, and may still have some residual constriction. This has resulted in a bit of ED. Would an ED med be okay under these circumstances?
It is but natural for one to face problem of ED after any major surgical procedure for few months after surgery till full recovery occurs .
You may consult your cardiologist to explore the efficacy and feasibility of taking Sildenafil (Viagra) to achieve hard erection to have enjoyable sex .
