Suggest Remedy For Excessive Acid In Throat With Stomach Pain While Taking Prilosec
My daughter was diagnosed with IBS and put on a low dose of Elavil. She has no symptoms of IBS other than abdominal pain, she has no constipation or diarrhea. She had some acid so her doctor prescribed Prilosec to take along with her other medication and now all of the symptoms are worse. She has excessive acid in her throat and she is still experiencing stomach pain. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Abdominal pain is an important symptom of irritable bowel syndrome. Acid reflux and peptic ulcer disease are treated as the following: 1) As you have tried Prilosec in vain, I would suggest you to try tab. Esomeprazole 20 mg once daily before food for at least 2 weeks. 2) Omez insta sachets help in reducing the acidity pain. 1 sachet in half glass of water would work good. 3) Avoid lying down immediately after eating 4) Sit upright for at least 1-2 hours after eating. 5) Avoid spicy and fatty foods
