My age is 24 I have been taking acutret 10mg from past few years now. My doctor recommended me this one because I have oily skin and the acne problem which was eliminated but after say more then a year after using this capsul my hair started thining and crystal started forming in my stomach so from past few months now I have stopped using this capsul and right now my body is dehydrating like crazy. I know this capsule does wonders when I have oily skin n acne it works like a magic but at the same time it dehydrates my body too n skin become dry special d skin around my eyes and since the acne problem has cone back again is it a good idea to start using this capsule again?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Acutret containing active ingredient Isotretinoin is effective in treating Acne but it is generally given to be taken for a maximum of 6 months to resolve the Acne but taking it together for years will definitely cause side effects and dry skin, bloating are all side effects of the drug..
I would suggest you to avoid taking Isotretinoin without getting a checkup done and discussing the side effects that you are facing with your your Dermatologist..
As of now you should try topical treatments to relieve Acne..
You can wash your face with Salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing facewash..
You can apply Benzoyl Peroxide gel and Clindamycin gels over pimples..
Apply Aloevera gel to lubricate your face and avoid any other creams..
You can also avoid oily food, take a nutritious diet and drink plenty of water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
