Suggest Remedy For Eye Problem
I was kicked on accient by my son in the left eye. I now have swelling on the bone below the eye and under my eye. It hurts to squint and i have a black eye. I have not had problems with my vision, but it does hurt more now..should i do anything else but ice?

Apart from applying ice, you can take an oral anti-inflammatory such as Tablet Brufen, 400 mg, twice a day after food, for about 2-3 days. It should subside within a week naturally. It is good that the vision is normal. However continuous presence of tenderness even after a week would need a closer look by an ophthalmologist.
