Suggest Remedy For Facial Scars Post Medical Termination Of Pregnancy

Dear Doctor, I had a medical abortion as follows: - Thursday, June 18 I had the injection, - Friday, June 19 I put the Mesoprostol pills into my vagina (a set of 4 pills every 4-5 hours, for 3 times). During the whole process I had fever, cramps, mood changes and nausea, and took Ibuprofen pills for cramps and Gravol pills for nausea. I didn t take anything for the fever. From Saturday, June 20 I have bad marks on all my face. What can I do now? And what is the cause?

Hi,

Ibuprofen or hormonal pills can cause dark discoloration of skin of face or other regions of the body due to allergic reaction or increase in the hormonal levels. You may require mild steroid creams and antihistamines in the case of allergic reactions. Hormonal side effects can take longer time to clear and may require combination of hyroquinone and oxidising agents for reducing the pigmentation.
