Suggest Remedy For Facial Swelling And Pain From A Wasp Bite

My girlfriend was bitten by a wasp on the upper eyelid of her right eye, this afternoon. she is not allergic, however, I checked on her minutes ago where I discovered the following. Her eye is almost completely swollen shut and the side of her face is red and swollen. Her airway is clear, but she is undergoing moderate pain. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Wasp bite causes swelling and pain due to release of histamine. Antihistamines help to resolve the swelling and pain. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment before prescription of any drug.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
