Suggest Remedy For Failure To Perform During Sexual Act

hi doctor,
we are a newly married couple.my husband gets proper excitment during foreplay.but he looses his excitment at the time of insertion.this has been happening since 5 days.it was ok prior to it.we feel ashamed of going to the doctor.we just wanted to make it certain, whether it is normal or do we need to consult a doctor

I assume that you and your husband are relatively young since you say you are newly married. Taking into consideration that this has only been happening in the last 5 days , I think that it is quite unlikely that the problem is that of a mechanical/structural nature. The causes of erectile dysfunction are vast and it would not be appropriate to investigate every cause in every case. In my opinion , it appears that your husband is having a mild performance anxiety issue which at this stage would not require treatment.
Reassure him and do whatever you can to keep his mind away from the issue.
