Suggest Remedy For Fatigue

I had mono all summer long. they tested me once at the beginning of summer and once at the end. the levels were high both times. I m still feeling fatigued. I desperately need to get tested again but I have no money for a doctors visit. can you give me any advise on where to go? also, I heard that if the mono levels remain high it could be a sign of chronic fatigue, is this true?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi..

fatigue after mono can sometimes take months to recover.

I would advise you to sign up for yoga classes. Do meditation or relaxation techniques , which will help you relax.

Maintain a good diet, with plenty of warm fluids.
Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Follow a balanced diet with cereals, pulses, fruits, vegetables and nuts.
Avoid oily, spicy, deep fried foods.
Avoid smoking and alcohol, tea, coffee.

A vitamin supplement with Vitamin B complex with Vitamin C might also help.
Hope my answer was helpful to you.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
