My daughter is suffering from fever with mouth ulcer for last 2 days. Fever is under control now but mouth ulcer spread up to the throat. she is unable to eat & dring anything. please suggest if I give her any medicine. She is 2 years & 3 months. Weight 12kg & Height 89 cm.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns....
As per your complain there is a possibility that your daughter is suffering from fever blisters caused by herpes viral infection leading to sores and fever.. You should consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated and he can also do a blood test and throat swab culture to rule out the exact cause of the infection and treat accordingly.. As of now you can give her tylenol for fever.. Apply a numbing gel over the ulcers for pain relief.. You can give her a soft and bland diet.. Give her ample of fluids and sufficient rest.. Maintain a good oral hygiene..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
