Suggest Remedy For Fever And Pain Under Breast After Taking Flu Medication
Hi last Monday I thought I was getting a sinus infection. I had to work so I took some alka seltzer cold, it went okay. I ran out so I took alka seltzer col and flu, it promised to dry me up. It did but I felt weird. At night when home I run about a 101 fever. Today I took one dose of alka seltzer c& f about 11 am at about 6 pm I felt the fever come on and I have a stabbing pain under my right breast. I had a hard time closing my work. I do alot of lifting. Then I went to blow my nose , left side was fine the right side I couldn t and I don t have much air in me it seems. It s strange to describe.
If you are having pain on taking a breath it is possible that it is due to pleuritis which is inflammation of the pleura. The pleura is the lining outside of the lungs.
This can occur with viral infections. Using an anti inflammatory pain medication such as ibuprofen, naproxen would help.
