Suggest Remedy For Fever And Redness And Swelling In Scrotum
I have a 3 1/2 yr old toddler who has a fever of 100.0 and his scrotum is red and a little swollen. He s not complaining of pain or itching and isn t having any difficulties urinating. He s eating and drinking fine. What do you think it is? Thank You, Mammie of Bub

Fever along with redness and swelling of scrotum can suggest a diagnosis of acute epididymo orchitis (infection of testes) or less commonly a scrotal abscess. As these conditions usually need antibiotic therapy, I will recommend you to consult your doctor. Meanwhile, you can paracetamol for fever.
