Suggest Remedy For Food Poisoning During Pregnancy
I accidentally ate cereal that had worms in it yesterday, and now today I m very nauseated, weak and sluggish, vomiting and diarrhea that smells like burnt rubber. My stool and vomit are very dark too.. I m also 10weeks pregnant also, so I m concerned about the baby. Please help me...
The treatment depends on how sick you are and the symptoms associated. Generally, your symptoms will reduce in a day or two. Avoid dehydration and drink plenty of fluids. In case of severe vomiting and diarrhea, antibiotics may be required to reduce the symptoms. Visit your doctor in order to check your blood pressure and hydration. Hypotension may occur which may require intravenous fluid administration.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
