Suggest Remedy For Frequent Urination During Night
Hi. I am frustrated by frequent urination during the night. I feel like I may have a UTI but when I had a urine test the nurse said it was negative. I also have parkinsons disease which the doctor said was directly associated with my problem. Help! What can I do to solve this problem? Keegle excercises? Medications??
Hello and welcome to HCM, Frequent urination during night can be due to urinary tract infection (UTI), prostate enlargement in males and neurological causes. UTI has been ruled out by routine urine examination. The prostate also needs to be clinically assessed to rule out its enlargement. You need to consult an urologist for clinical assessment and measuring blood levels of PSA to know the status of prostate. If the prostate is not enlarged, then probable it is neurological in origin. In that case I suggest you to consult your neurologist for look for the cause of frequent urination during night. Thus, consult your urologist first and then neurologist if no disorder of prostate is detected.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
